My wife and I ate here and felt very welcome, however, the guests at the other table dropped the N bomb frequently. I looked at her in disbelief and she simply said," that's how they talk down here"! I'm black, no thank you.

In town for work. Locals said 1921 has best oysters around. They weren’t kidding. Biggest oysters I’ve ever seen. Ordered the trash basket grilled. Soft shell, shrimp, oysters and catfish. Enjoyed it immensely. My wife had the red snapper fillet with sweet potato fries. The food was delicious. A little on the pricey side. We enjoyed the atmosphere and meal

Tucked off the main road, this rustic local seafood joint has limited parking, but arriving early solved that. It's a seat-yourself spot with menus already on the tables, and the service was quick and smooth. A local recommended the raw oysters on the half shell, and they didn’t disappoint. Served fast, they were generously sized. I enjoyed two dozen ($16 per dozen) and a beer, totaling around $40 with tip—great value. I’d definitely return for those oysters.

We were in town for a wedding. As we were headed to the hotel, my husband spotted this place. We had a dozen of raw oysters and a “Trash Bucket.” The fish was delicious. It was a fresh and hot. Since it was close to closing, I was expecting something warmed over. If in the area again, we would stop by.

One of the best bars I've been to in the states, nice atmosphere and nice set-up. The waitress was really friendly and explaining some combination possibilities. The crawfish was really well seasoned and the Blue Crab which was a first for us was tasty.

I was just told this was the best best boiled seafood in town. They have Dungeness crab on special, so I may have to try that... Anyway I purchased the Mahi Mahi and some calamari. I purchaes the exrra sausage link instead of potatoes. The smell of raw seafood is all over this place. I enjoyed the stay

The food truly is amazing.. Good food isnt fast, fast food isnt good. This is no place to go to if you're in a rush. You've got to take ur time. Waiting time to get tables isnt that bad compared to other restaurants in its category, While seated, relax, look around you and see whats on others table, cos that is what will come, but you've got to be patient. It was an amazing and soulful seafood experience.. the staffs were great. It was a 5star experience, I had to rate it 4 cos despite the good food and the large quantities of the seafood. The sides weren't that much. Just a few potatoes and onion tossed i . I would sacrifice some of the crawfish for more potatoes(I need a distraction while getting my hands dirty breaking the shells.. Other than that. It was amazing. Oh. $70 bill for my dinner. Totally worthy, but I'm glad I'm out of town, otherwise, I'll be broke cos I'd want to have it every day...
